This worked in nicely with my theme of Valentine's Day and Colors. Mr. Hatch's life is grey, grey, grey until he receives a large, heart… Continue

What a great start! I, too, wasn't familiar with a ning, but I like what I see. I will try to add photos and program stuff. This is going to be a fabulous resource for us. Thank you! Continue

storymarf Worry Dolls

This is a handout I made for making worry dolls. Click on it to make it larger. I did this with school-age kids (3rd grade and up) as well as some teenage girls in juvenile detention. I was to… Continue

The best resource book ever for this is Judy Sierra's The flannelboard storybook. It's just the best ever, period, full-stop. If you make all the flannelboard stories in this book, you will be up to your elbows in really good stories with pieces based on charming illustrations. No, really.

Sometimes, though, you might see a book and think, "This would make a great flannelboard!" but you aren't sure how to do it. Well, first of all, there's always pellon. You can almost trace t
